On this page you'll find books that I'm reading and books that have helped shape my foundation of knowledge in Front-end Development. Eventually, I'd like to add more books to this page that I recommend (mostly on coding, personal finance, and personal development).

For now, here are two books that I'm currently reading, as well as books that have helped me learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript!

Books I'm Currently Reading

Currently, I'm jumping between two books - one on programming and one on personal development.

Becoming a Better Programmer: A Handbook for People Who Care About Code
by Pete Goodliffe

Personal Development:
Digital Minimalism: Choosing a Focused Life in a Noisy World
by Cal Newport

Book recommendations are welcome!

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Foundations

The Web Design bookset by Jon Duckett helped understand and expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS for interactive front-end web development. Not only do these books provide well-written step-by-step code explanations and examples, they also feature intuitive design and color matching for syntax.

You can check out your local library for these books or buy it on Amazon.

Web Design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery Set
by Jon Duckett

Having physical books handy let me learn off-screen and in different places, which is important for eye health and honestly just having a change of scenery. I highly recommend these books for anyone building their foundational knowledge of web development or for anyone wanting to supplement their main library of resources.
